GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP)

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are a set of measures that aim to provide guidance for manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance in order to ensure that a product is safe for human consumption.

Upon completion of this course trainees will:

1. Be able to understand the basics of Good Manufacturing Practice for medicinal products for human use and the current legal regulations and guidelines.

2. Have the confidence to outline the main GMP requirements related to premises, storage facilities and personnel.

3. Get familiar with the principles of the GMP quality system and quality control and the important procedures when dealing with complaints and recalls.
